Default possible manual trans for a 96 v6

hey does anybody have a clue of any 5 speeds that could replace my auto in a 96 v6-(c27a 2.7L)..thanks people

there is a 6 spd conversion for it (I believe from an Acura TL?) ... I know I'm wrong on where it comes from, but definitly a 6spd.

as -redneckdave-...hes doing the conversion on a 6th gen, and its the same engine series, so it should bolt up fine on the c27........i think it was from a 6spd tl, but im not sure

5th and 6th gen v6 engines are different. 5th is C series, 6th is J series I believe. There is no known manual tranny swap for 5th gens.

there was someone here about a year ago who did a succesful 5spd swap into a 5th Gen v6.

Search the archives....i don't believe he fabricated too much.

TL Swap?? (5/6spd??)
C32A6 Legend; 3.2TL 91-98

NSX Swap?? (not sure how the diff and drivelines would line up....but their both designt for horizontaly mounted engins )
C30A NSX; NSX-T 91-96

i know....something tells me it wont...cause im not sure which way the NSX engines rotate, and if that affects which side of the car the tranny would have to go on a FF car....

Yeah, get a 5spd from a 1st gen legend. That's the legend that had the c25 and c27 engines.

its been done and the people that i know of that did the swap were from delware and the other from cali, they both used the 5spd from a legend. it might be archived somewhere on http://www.v6performance.net
