ekb18b5:

What you really meant to say is..."looks just like the spoon to most people (riceboys) who can't distinguish between an anodized and a painted finish but without the cost." Right?

Too many ROTArted people in Cali nowadays.

you just upset that you had to spend 2gs on yours when you could of had it for 500
What can I have for $500? Cheap imitations? No thank you.

Yeah they look nice...let's see if you will give ROTA the same response if they came out with an original design (which they will NEVER do).

spoon causes too many people to ejaculate IMHO hehe

i would never pay 2K for rims spoon or whatever, its still a rim that looks the same and is a good value.
those black rota or spoon rims arent my taste but for that price compared to spoon, DUH, whats to think about? (unless u wipe your a$$ with money)

i mean if you save up 2000 to buy the spoon rims when you can have the same thing (almost) for 500 then damn man u really should look into what that 1500 can get you.

only a handful of people, if that, can say that everything in their car is not a knock off whether its rims or an itr shift **** knock off or whatever

anyway, let the guy sell his rims, i apologize for this post since its not related to the topic but i just wanted to put in my opinion. thats all
cheers

Yeah...who cares. You like your Spoon junk and I think you're a bonehead for buying them because they are rediculously expensive. I bet you buy your clothes from Saks too.

My elcheapo rims cost me like $75 a pece, and I love them. If anybody ever gives me crap about them I will put them on the ground. And I will really get my money's worth that way!

With all the f**ken theives out there. Forget the $2000 rims. Where would you park without being worried. Id' take my chances with $411.00.

You guys are missing an extremely large factor.

The Spoons are FORGED wheels, which means although they weigh just 8.4 lbs, they are extremely strong.

The Slipstreams are CAST wheels, which means they are more prone to break.

Is the $1200 difference worth it? For peace of mind on the race track I say absolutely.

for the street use most of us do, who needs forged wheels? Is 1600 worth 4 less pounds per wheel? I dont think so. You can be proud of the fact you have REAL spoon wheels all you want, but ill be the one laughing when i rape your car because i have an extra 1600 invested in mine. (not saying my car is faster than yours, just used that as an example )

Plus, I know [there are] alot of people who'll take your spoon wheels and leave a guy with rotas on his car alone. I'd rather have lookalikes than a stripped stolen car.

Personally, I wouldn't pay $2000 for just the name SPOON. Not only the name, but I would NEVER pay $2000 for some black rims that looks plain five spoke design. Yeah, sure its magnesium and its lightass hell, but I don't take my car to tracks enough to where it matters. I'm happy with Rota Sliptreams, but I would REALLY be happy with bronze Advan RGs.

Rape my car, huh? Also, I don't have spoon wheels, but thanks for guessing...

I didn't say street use ahole, I said TRACK USE! Can't you read?

I don't think there's anything wrong with the Rotas as I think they're a great value. However, I myself would not be confident in their strength. Is that really so hard for you to understand?

Most R owners track their car which is what the Type R was meant for...

I'm so ******* sick of seeing the SPOON vs. ROTA arguments.

JUST BUY THE WHEELS YOU WANT! ****! WHY EVEN DEBATE THIS TIRED TOPIC? I'VE TRIED BEFORE, AND IT DOES NO GOOD.
