Default swap day 4 (huge pics)

finally got the bitch pin out.

here's a quick how-to:

1 - tape together long philips screwdriver and jack handle:

2 - place tip of screwdriver into the top of the bitch pin like so:

3 - hold onto the handle/screwdriver thing while you enlist the help of THIS GUY to beat the living **** out of it :

as it sits right now, it's free of everything, and ready to be slowly, carefully lifted out of the civic..

ran out of time tonight, but tomorrow is going to be happy fun day.. heh

I just use a punch, climb under the car, and tap it out I would amount the diffuculty to that of taking off the oil fill cap

edit: karma is probably going to make mine stuck now

heh.. i've got my wife hooked on ATHF now.. *laugh*

a6 is on the floor beside the car ready to go in as soon as the b2 is out of the way, and i do a few minor prep things.. move mounts from the b2 to the a6, swap out the starters, put new mount bushings in the mounts, etc.. if all goes well *crossing fingers* the b2 should get pulled very early tomorrow evening, and after an hour on the a6, i should have it ready to lower in and start connecting.. a long thurs evening/night and i should have the MPFI wired, everything back together, and be ready to set her back down off the jack stands and see if it runs.. heh

sure, it took 5 seconds, and only 3 good hits for it to come out AFTER about 5 minutes of pounding the ever loving **** out of it..

i still haven't found the pin, but i'm gonna bet when i do, it's just as rusty as the hole it came out of..

heh
