Just got a CRX because well i fell inlove with 2point2's car... what should i do with it?
Picked up a 90' CRX Si today, it runs but needs a headgasket and axles and stuff.. color is yellow but was originaly white.
I cant make up my mind if I should make it my daily driver, weekend car, or just drag car.
I like going fast in a stright line - could care less about taking a corner faster then then posted speedlimit anyway.
Anyways it needs some body panels and paint, motor...
I currently drive a 95 civic ex with a b18b1 turbo engine that runs mid 13's on a hot day - it is my daily driver, gutted
What would you guys do if you were me? There is so many different engines i could put in this - cost is kinda an issue so no GSR or Type-R engines. this is currently a project car and will be worked on in my spare time until its ready and I have a few welders (Tig, Mig and Arc) so I can make my own mounts if need be
Hmm I got about 1000 ideas running though my head so im gonna sleep and hope I have a dream to figure out what should be done with this car...
All of my friends are telling me to gut the Rex but if it is gonna be street driven a interior could make it more of a sleeper.... should I gut it?

Don't gut it. You'll kick yourself in a few months when you realize how stupid it is.
Edit: If you do decide to gut it, do NOT sell your interior! It'll be a pain trying to track it all back down if you ever want to sell the car and/or have a comfortable car again.

Ummm...yea, because faster cars suck.
I'd replace the suspension and swap the engine. Since you said no Type R or GSR then I'd just got with a B18B. If you have enough money then turbo it
. There are a million things you could do though.

Yeah... take it back to factory spec.
Along with the terrible brakes, mushy suspention, and whopping 22mm monstar performance exhaust.
Swap the engine out to a ZC or something. Makes decent power. Trash the suspention. Get something adjustable (shock wise) and some decent springs. Maybe even coilovers. Doesn't need to be fancy, but you'll thank yourself later.

Or you could stick with the stock block (assuming its an Si) and try to do work on it. You may not be beating down B18C5's anytime soon but it wouldnt be bad for a daily driver. That's what ive done so far, i plan to swap, someday, but till i have money for that i just work on my D16.

Look, Youll pat yourself on the back later. Since you need to repair it right? You might as well go with something with better performance. ZC Motor is a straight drop in and rated at 130hp (or around there) it'll be plenty enough with bolt ons. Theres also just the d16a6 (<3) That makes decent power and the transmission with it is good. However, If you want the best bang for your buck, go with what everyone's mom has, B16a. Good luck!
(Dont strip it unless your straight line drag racing, you'll feel stupid in a few months)
