I'm curious, does the aftermarket cams affect emission at the lower end where they usually do the test? I'm assuming that when they modify the lobes, they focus mainly on the highend lobe which gets activated after the vtec point? If you have any experience smogging your car with aftermarket cam, please share. Thanks.

 

It totally depends on the cam and your emmision standards.

In my experience I have had a more difficult time getting a Toda cam to pass because of the large primaries.
