that was at 5400 rpm my friend who dynoed it said it fell off because it needed more air that the turbo couldnt provide at 7lbs so he said we had to turn up the boost is that right?

i have ab20 stock right now w/ skunk2 mani and itr tb and would like to know...cant wait till i throw on my kit.

 

we didnt dyno that motor befor boost

my b18 did 200 on 5 lbs lol

 

My friends stock b20 vtec at 15lbs dynoed at 373hp.

wow those are good numbers for stock b20 i would like to see the tq numbers as well

15psi on a stock b20 is asking for it.

MMM maybe, but since tunning is the key its all about your setup and how well you tune it.... B20turbohic runs 15psi daily on his B20 and it is tuned with Zdyne. He hasnt had an issue yet.

i made 289hp and 230ft on a bone stock ls b18a1. good or bad oo thats at 13 psi

 

i heard you really only dynoed 198 on 12lbs...just playin, haha, still dont think its enough to take me out

 

hey whta turbo where u using on ur b20 when dynoing your car also what type of fuel management are u using?

 

im planning on going stock b20 turbo for now until i get my b16 head...but wondering what set up and what turbo you guys are using also...

 

I have a K20 making 267@6psi

it made 190 torque im running a turbonetics t3/t4 .48 trim on both sides and for fuel its just a stock ls computer and apex safc the air fuel ratio is just above 12 if that means any thing?

The car he is talking about is mine. Car is a b20z with a gsr head. Skunk 2 manifold stock head and bottom end. Using a Aem for tuning. Car made 373whp and 294 torque. Seems to be holding up fine in a 99 coupe weighing in at 2654 it went 11.51@121. Tuning is key to making these motors stay together. To Godfather of Boost for the tuning

 

my friends civic made 421 on 19lbs at 7800

our other friend made 385 on 22lbs at 9500

those are both ls vtec.
