Im trying to purchace a Mugen header for my ITR... If all goes well, ill be trading stock plus 150 cash. Theres a Catch... The header was iodized gold and is fading a bit, It also has Dents in bottom, which i would like to fix if possible. For the price, I think its worth it. I would like some opinions. How would i go about referbishing it. I was thinking of heating it where its dented and somehow pulling it out, or ever cuting dent and replace it with a portion of piping. As far as the finish of the header, who would be able to get it back to a nice shiny resoration (where, price, Or DIY with an temp iodized paint)... Thanks.. Need opinions

 

You'd have to weld rods to the tube and then heat it up and then you'll have something to pull on.

Do a search under Willard and he did a cut out repair on a JDM ITR header like you're talking about.
