Here are some recent details I wanted to share. Reservations made on our group rate need to be placed by JUNE 22nd (THIS MONTH). We are going to ask for an extension but please reserve ASAP.

Didn't one of the Maryland guys say they got "Gov't" rates of something like 59.99$ (Josh I think).

didn't even think to check if I could get it, or if I could use my AAA to make it even cheaper.. might be worth a call in the morning..

Government rates are very low rates that hotels rarely meet for any other guests. So even though there may be a special rate for government employees, don't count on them extending that rate to everyone in our group.

My rate, on the other hand, may be a different story...

Lol, i was mostly referencing a certain r00mate last year who kept us all up every night.

We got a non smoking room too.

Do you get the AARP senior citizen discount for hotels?
IF so what about getting a wheelchair to borrow ?

Government rate is 55 bucks a night with a Govt ID card (Common Access Card.)

Too bad I can't get that rate for everyone

The AARP rate is not as good as the rate that my travel agency got, which is not dependent on age.

I am hoping that Trey can get the hotel to match it for all the rooms, since it's less than $89...
