i have decided to weld in b16 mounts. the reason for this is that i will be driving my car in the winter, and here in canada, it gets to be -40 degrees celcius. i've used the hasport mounts before and when it gets that cold the mounts will freeze and make the vibrations unbearable. does anyone have experience welding in these mounts? i know i need the teg rear bracket and drivers side mount.

 

would'nt welding make it worse even in warm weather?

 

no becasue i dont beleive i wil be wedling the engine to the car, just relocating the engine brackets so that u can use rubber engine mounts

the ls motor i got, the car it came from, the guy rewelded the chassis engien mounts so he could use the stock rubber mounts
