CRV Block?
I've noticed some people that construct frankenstine engines(or whatever you want to call them) use CRV blocks. May I ask why? It seems a bit weird to me, but I would like to know the advantages of using a CRV block. Thanks.

I've been curious about these setups as well. What about the block internals? Would they be able to hold up against high revs from a b16 or b18 vtec head? What about the oil jets? Does the B20 have oil jets? I also heard that the B16A heads bolt-up w/o a problem, but the B18C1-5s don't. Is this true?

the oil squirters are a give take thing, they add additional rotating mass while cooling the pistons, some scca specific motors ive delt with delete them and instead run a richer mixture and modified rings and lands to cool the piston just as effectively. its either ya want them or you don't.
all b series blocks are pretty much the same after in all of the 90'ish models w/ a few exceptions (no flaming please, its a generalization)
