Help with carbon fiber hood install
sup yall, i just bought a fiber image carbon fiber hood. i tried installing it yesterday but the hood simply doesnt close all the way. the drivers side seems to be like 1/5 inch off the fender. and you know how if you close your hood, you hear a clicking noise? well, it wont do that..do you guys know whats wrong with it?
It won't make the clicking noise when you close it, becuase it's so light. And as far as the driver side being off some carbon fiber hoods are like that.
There are little rubber things you can twist to lower the hood more
or you can raise the latch up by loosening three bolts.
mine looked retarded when i first installed it but i played around with it for like 15 minutes and now it looks good.

if u look at the locking mechanism, theres 3 screws that u can undo and then move up the whole locking mechanism...i had to raise mine all the way for the hood to close, u probalby will have to try the same

I had to do the same thing when I got my fiber images hood on my 98 civic. Post pictures when you get it on. The quality was amazing.

anyone have pictures of this?
I dont get why the hood does not click down all the way. I tried to stick my finger under it to unlock it even more but it still doesnt go all the way down.
I dont get how you move the 3 screws. Doesnt the screws have to stay there or the latch wont be aligned right?
