Clutch issues when cold (95 GSR)
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have an ACT street disk and heavy duty pressure plate. Here's the problem... when the car is cold the clutch has an extremely hard time getting into gear. Sometimes it won't let me. However, after it's warmed up the clutch is great.
My theory is the seals in the slave cylinder are expanding when heated therefore not letting fluid get by causing the clutch to actually work.
Has anyone else found an after market slave/master cylinder that can handle the pressure of a massive pressure plate like ACT's?
(I go through a set of slave/master cylinder's a year)
Thanks!!!

I have that exact same clutch and i've never not been able to get it in gear. Thats weird that it only happens when the car is cold. Probably something needs to be adjusted, i don't know much since i have a cable trany and things are a little more simple. sorry i could not help more. I don't think the problem is the clutch though.
Thanks Guys,
I'm just a little frustrated because I've gone through two master cylinders and two slave cylinders since I bought that heavy duty pressure plate. I'll probably try a new slave, then sell the car.
Thanks again for your input...
