tire width vs. fit
I have a 99 LX coupe, but I just upgraded to the OEM 15" 5-point (4-lug) EX mags. I've read some conflicting info on what tires will fit. I really like the look of a wider tire and was wondering how wide I could go.

you can easily fit a 215 with no rub. I just had 215/35/19's on my 97 ,but if your talking about width i know 205 will fit. 215 ive seen once but it looked like ****, and im not even sure if it was on there correctly.

I believe your question is about what you can fit on that wheel. If so the widest you can really go is 205. I put 205s on a stock wheel and they just could squeeze on. 215 would be too wide.
A nice size is 205/50 or 205/55. 205/50 might look too short but try 205/55. Should look nice.

I believe OEM wheels 15" are 5" wide and shouldn't try to put on a very wide tire, 205/55 with a mild drop will be closest to stock and have no rub issues
