Are the front fenders and hoods the same on Civics and CRX's? It may be a stupid question but I'm newbie after all. Used the 'search' function and couldn't find anything.

 

hoods are the same...and thats about it

 

yea the fenders are diffrent some on put one on mine before i bought it and the corner light wont fit anythere diffrent shape

 

the hoods are not the same my friend had to have his CF hood custom made for a civic because the crx one was shorter

Perhaps the hood or the rex was fucked up.
In the united states, the hood is the same. Here in europe, the only difference is that the CRX has a cosmetic hump on the hood. I had a civic hood on my crx for a while...and my friend has a crx hood on his civic. They both fit fine, without any issues.

you can run the fenders w/ the CRX bumper and bumper mounts, but it looks dumb.

 

we went to VIS that makes CF hoods here in the us and they tried both a hatchback and a crx hood on the civic and they did not fit but heyjust my .02

 

Don't take my word for it...but you might check the part numbers on the hoods. Just a hint.
