95 Civic HELPPP!!

Default 95 Civic HELPPP!!

i have a little problem my 95 civic (1.6 SOHC vtec)..is a manual trans when i put it one 1st gear and floor it the car is hesitating then it will pick up in like 2 seconds..i dont know why?? and when my vtec hits i am burning a little oil can any help thank you!!!

sounds like its a tps sensor with a bad spot in it or a fuel pump going bad

When you hit vtec it will burn up some oil. Nothing to worry about.

tps sensor is the Throttle Position Sensor, and it should be located on the Throttle Body itself, but I'm not sure.

what makes everyone think its his tps? it sounds like he needs to get a tune-up. his car is choking. change your plugs, or at least inspect them, as well as your cap and rotor and wires. it sounds like a spark problem.

i dont think its a tps.

i have the same problem right now, and i have all new wires and plugs bc thats what i think it is, so im goign to go ahead and do that this weekend and see what happens

i put it in new spark plugs and wires like 7 days ago...i put NGK ..and the wires are bosch...well its still the same thing...i changed the PVC its running smoother...u think its the gas filter??? idk thank u EVERY1
