Default Wheels/Lowering

Hey,

I checked all the FAQ's and searched, but nothing matched my criterea at hand.

I have a 92 accord, with the stock 15" ugly rims.

I want to get new wheels, new tires, and drop it just to get rid of that 4x4 looking gap.

My question is, what size tires do I get for either 16 or 17" rims, and how many inches should I lower it? (i'm thinking around 1.5")

And when I do lower it, what else do I need besides some eibach springs? any shocks/dampeners/anything else?

Thanks for the help

Also- any reccomended rims you guys got? i like chrome, but not those 7 spoke ricing ones. I'd like to keep the set under 700 bucks.

Thanks

Since its a 92 you're probably due (or overdue if you haven't replaced them once) for new shocks anyway so I'd upgrade those, especially since you're lowering it. KYB AGX are great and you can adjust them to suit your needs/preferences. Don't get chrome wheels. With the money you'd spend on a chrome finish you could get some Volks. Volks= Chrome= As far as tires go the size depends on your preference. For 17's 205/45/17's are good if you want low-pro. Check out tires.com or tirerack.com.

I would have to say Volks are the pinnacle of wheels, but that is just my opinion. It is also my opinion that spending 2k on wheels (without tires) is crazy. Wheels or H22...hmm... not a hard choice.

You can't go wrong with any of them really. Plus, like you said, Rota makes some nice knock-offs
