jbl isn't that great.. jbl = just be loud.. the reason everyone has jl, kicker , and rf is because they make the best subs

while i would love to do that

i can't afford it

i can get these jbls fairly cheap used and ive heard a few jbls that sound good, good sq so

'just be loud' is not something i associate with jbl

you know if you didn't change equipment every week you probably could afford it if you did that, you wouldnt have to post every half an hour about what you can get for cheap and we wouldnt have to be annoyed by it and the world would be a perfect place

has he been tested for ADD yet - seriously dude - decide on something, then execute....pretty much all you do is talk about how you are going to get a new system every week.

lol...thats 3 questions this week. the thing i wonder about is when you post these deals you can get are you looking for our approval on it?? what ever happened to listening to stuff youself and making your own decisions. the problem is you leave the decision up to people like myself and i'll tell you that JBL is **** because to me it is. if you post next week about getting an IDMAX then i'll say go for it.

no to disrespect - but the others are right - I mean, you gotta listen to some subs!!

My winter beater has gone through no name brand, JBL, JL and even 10" Infinite Baffle (and hey it wasn't bad!!...wasn't good either though..)

I've used different box designs with each to play around with what I thought I liked, and figure out what I *DO* like.

Setup + Install can easily make speakers sound better than they are precieved to be.

We're here to help you learn from our mistakes, but when decisions are based on marketting (like polk momo....) - things start to get emotional for no reason.

Good luck on choosing something

How much are you looking to spend on JBLs?
eDs are not that much and would be a much better sub for the money.

Good Luck.

the internet is a wonderful thing where everyone is allowed to have their own opinions. I'm voicing mine.

let me get this straight. because you have no aspiration in life to succeed financially we're all supposed to pat you on the head and say everythign is good? everyone has standards when it comes to their hobbies. i have a friend with a $3000 mountain bike and to him all the bikes they sell at canadian tire are crap. is he going to hide his opinion so you dont cry? i wouldnt.

i was raised on teh belief that if you're going to do something do it once and do it right which is the adice i tried to pass along to jomo (how many times have you been banned now?). To me it only seems the most logical route to plan what you want and decide how to achieve it. if you want a better setup, get a better job instead of being proud to be ghetto. That may sound wired but its not jsut about your stereo, its about your entire quality of life. I know people who will see a big house and think i will never afford that, i'll look at the same house and think about how i'm going to be able to afford it. desire is the first step towards success.

as far as me being into home audio, whats the difference? the same rules and theory apply but the product lineups are a little different. does this mean i dont do any car audio stuff? no, i'm planning a 3way dynaudio front stage with possibly butler amps a little later on in the summer.
