What would be the best way of getting into my car with out breaking a window or calling a lock smith. I know that for some cars you can use what the police use. ( A skinny pice of metal with a hook on the end. ) That can damage my car and I dont think it will work on this sort of lock.

Any idea's guys?

i don't think teaching someone how to break into a car is a good idea

Well, I still think your best bet is to use what the Police use, if not, just call your local Police Department, they'll send somebody over to get your door open.

here in OH they charge u to take it out if they get their slimjim stuck in there

 

Go to your dealer with your VIN number and driver's license and get a new key made for a few dollars. Then keep it in your wallet so it doesn't happen again.

Yes, you have to have proof of ownership to get a key made.

 

Find someone with a Honda key. It worked while I was in Columbus. My bro has a 98 Accord and his key worked in my 91 Civic. Just a thought.

Actually, I was watching this special 'primetime' thing where they went into dealerships with just the VIN and had keys made. Of course, they used a lady so she looked all innocent, but it was scary.

 

Yeah, that's a shame, too bad I don't have any door handles on the outside of my car.

 

Do the mentioned ways work on a prelude?
I just locked my keys in also.
