Default Are my Tein NA's hosed? (pic)

ITR Tein NA's on a 93 Si Hatch. Put them on the car for about a month last year and they were set at the lowest perch, I thought the weight difference would even everything out but it was TOO low. With just street driving in about 4 weeks they came off looking in rough shape. Now I'm nervous about putting them back on the car even with the height adjusted higher.

Here's a pic of two of them. (Warning, its big. ) Yes, I know they're nasty looking.

You can see the one on the left thats still the way I took it off the car. The clip has been forced out from under the perch. On the right is one where I've adjusted the height but I don't know if this is correct because I don't remember how they looked before I installed them. Should the perch be resting on the circlip? Should I even risk using them? Rebuilds aren't an option as Tein wants $120 a corner. They're not worth that. They also won't sell parts for them. (You can't get the perches off the body anyway)

It was my own stupid fault for not setting the ride height properly when I put them on in the first place. I thought it was a bigger job than it turned out to be which really sucks. Didn't even need a spring compressor to do it. That's what you get for being impatient.
