help about type-R muffler

Default help about type-R muffler

I have an LS and there is currently no piping on the car (well there is from the header until the cat). If I wanted to put a type r back exhaust, wut size shuld the piping be, 2.25? And you think somewhere like midas wuld do the piping if I supplied the exhaust? And! does ne one know where i can buy the type r exhaust... culdnt find it on honda-tech

yeah midas can help you out... do a wtb on ht ans search ebay for the exhust

still having a hard time finding the exhaust for some strange reason... like OEM parts dont exist ne more, but thanks!

well itr parts like that are hard to find... ask some people in the itr forumn

Check some of the Jdm sites, I think PasswordJdm sells it for around $225(complete catback).

And yes make a WTB add in the classifieds, there not that hard to find. Going rate for the whole exhaust system is about $200

JDM version will be about 5" too long while USDM will bolt right on. If you get a USDM you can just bolt it on yourself.

The DC2R muffler is part of a 2.25" system, however the muffler inlet size itself is a 2" bottleneck. I've got one.

just goto meineke or midas, and have them custom make a 2 1/4 piping for your car. why bother getting an itr part?

its cheaper, same benefits if not more.

my opinioin.
