Any one know if a 1 inch difference in ground clearence Front to Rear is a Problem.
I just installed a set of 4 H&R OE Sport Springs , with Bilstein HD shocks, Using my original bumpstops from OEM shocks on new shocks , as per instructions from H&R OE Sport Springs, on My 1996 ACCORD DX Sedan . I just measured the height in FRONT from the ground to Jacking position it's 7 inches , in REAR the measurement from the ground to jacking position is 8 Inches . A 1 Inch height difference Front to Rear body ground clearance . Any way i measure it it's 1 inch higher in the Rear to Front . Is this NORMAL on these ACCORDS or is this a problem body not level. ANY HELP PLEASE OR SOME SUSPENSION SPECIALISTS . THANKS
Yeah that's pretty normal. It may settle a little bit over time and if not I wouldn't worry about it too much. A lot of those springs are made so the front is lower then the back so it looks 'aggressive.'
My Bad !!! I installed the LOWER Spring perch upside down on the shock , Causing the Ride Height to be raised 1 inch in the Rear . I have to remove the Bilstein shock and spring, and take spring off and turn the Spring perch over, and put the spring back on and the Ride height should drop the 1 inch . And hopefully my handling will improve , the car will be lower front and rear like H&R OE Sport springs are supposed to lower the ride height. Thanks to all for HELP .
