Default motor mount bushing question..

D15B2 -> D16A6
manual tranny

my bushings in my mounts appear to be pretty worn..

is it possible to just replace the bushings, or do i have to buy all new motor mounts in order to do it ?

(i'm in the middle of a swap, or i wouldn't bother.. i figure now's the time to do it.. heh)

they are available through energy suspension directly. there are only 3 mounts that end up using them, the driver's side of the motor, and the front and rear of the trans. nothing is available for the top of the transmission, but this mount doesn't really matter that much for torque distribution. the energy inserts will go into the stock mounts with a little help from a bench grinder to shape accordingly.

night and day difference!

The pro urethanes come with all 4 mount inserts. Got mine from summit, but are taking forever to ship, hopefully will be here tomorrow.

I put in the energy suspension inserts for the driver side engine mount and the front tranny mount and everythings fine, no need for a bench grinder, just assemble and cram that bitch back in. Car distributes a lot more of the vibration to the cabin though, but you get used to it.
