Hey guys, I need new fenders and a hood for my 92 coupe. Does anyone know if the 4 door sedan civics fenders and hood will fit my 2 door coupe?
I found a whole front end from a sedan, would just like to know if will crossover.
Thanks

Sorry, didnt realize the year. I checked the title and it does say 93 lol, I thought I had a 92
Anyways, so has anyone done this before? I just dont want to go pick up the front end (200 miles roundtrip) and then not have it fit.
92-95 civic 4 door hood + fenders
on a "93" two door civic?
anyone?
Thanks for your help

Here are some facts:
Part:
The front bumpers are different but the reinforcement and absorber are the same from the 92-93 years and then again for the 94-95 years
Verdict:
The sedan bumper should fit if it is a 92 or 93, it MAY fit if it is a 94 or 95
Part:
The fenders differ based on sedan or coupe/hb configuration and whether you have moldings or not, however, all of the inner structure, i.e. rails and aprons and core support are the same between models. The only differences come in if your civic is Japan built and which tranny you have. This is also confirmed by the fact that I am in the process of putting a sedan front structure on my hatch and they are identical. The only other difference is the fender brackets.
Verdict:
The fenders will bolt up with the sedan brackets.
Part:
The hoods are different, but, as mentioned before, the structure is the same.
Verdict:
If you are using the sedan bumper, fender and lamps, I can't see why the hood would not fit
Part:
The head lamps are the same for all styles/years
Verdict:
Sedan lamps will fit fine
Part:
The park lamps differ from sedan to coupe/hb
Verdict:
I imagine the difference has to do with the fenders, if you use sedan fenders, you should be OK
Final verdict:
Since the inner structure is the same for all years (as long as your car and the donor car are US or Canadian built) I would venture a very educated guess that as long as you get everything with you clip, you will be able to switch it all over.
PM me if you have any further questions.

made in december 92. models made late in the year, is usually claimed as the next year model. it would be something new if it wasn't, but i say check the title of the car.

You guys suck at answering questions.
I have neither, and have picked it up along the
way with the rest of all this usfull knowledge.
If you get the hood, bumper, fenders, headlights, and corners,
you could use the 4 door stuff. Some things can be left off, but
you will have ugly gaps.
But the bumper is different. Many people with 4 doors switch to
the 2 door fronts for looks.
So yes, it can be done, but I would
definatly look for a 2 door front or something from a hatch.

And when those people with 4 doors use a 2 door bumper they have to do some modifications. It is NOT a direct fit.

Oh...No they didn't...
Your EJ1 was made in DEC 92, which would make it a 93. Have you noticed that some 2005 models are out already and we're not even half way through 2004
Look at your title...it will say 1993 Honda Civic.
