Serious Question: CX motor into DX coupe....
Please I need serious opinions on this, so do me a favor and keep the humor to a minimum.
I have a DX auto, w/ a bad motor. I have a CX motor, which I believe has 70hp and 82tq if my sources are correct.
My question is will this motor be able to pull the DX coupe even though intended for a CX hatch? Also, its crank pully only has 2 ribs, 1 for alternator and the other for a either a/c or p/s. Can I take the crank pully off of the DX motor and put it on the CX motor?
This motor will be bolted to the original DX auto tranny.

It will be slow, but not undriveable. You will also have to rewire the O2, if you are planning on using the CX ECU(p05), as the CXs use a one wire. The crank pulley should work. Im not positive, though. Check the diameters and number of grooves in each.
Just swap over your dx intake and exhaust manifold and you wont need to change any wiring at all. (the dx manifolds will help with power a bit too)
The crank pulley will bolt on, but I have seen a few instances that the lower cover needed to be trimmed a bit.

'preciate that dude. Do you think that this motor will be able to pull the car + 3 or 4 passengers? Dare I ask if this would be possible with the a/c on?
Yes, this is a serious question.
