GSR Swap Pleeeasee help
I finally finished my gsr swap on my ek. Been out of commission for a month man.
Well I finally wired up everything buy the IAC fix last nite and I tried to crank the car and nothing. It doesn't crank or turn over?? Sup with that? I'm sure everything is wired correctly.
What do I look at to see what codes are throwing? Do I need to buy something
to look at that?

Same thing happened to me, when I did my swap 2 weeks ago. If it's not cranking at all, it is likely to be either a bad ground (which I had) or a bad starter (which strangely enough I had too).
Take a set of booster cables and hook one end on your engine (basically on any metal surface). Now take the other end (the same color) and hook that end up on your chassis. Try to start the car. If that doesn't work then, pull out your starter. There are only two bolts holding it in place. Use the same booster cable and hook up one end of it to your battery. Take the positive terminal of the other end and make it touch both metal connectors. I suggest using your foot to keep it in place, because if it does work it'll spin like hell.
If your starter doesn't extend and spin, then you have found your problem.

I don't think it's the starter because when I had the motor in my Teg it worked fine. And now that I did the swap it doesn't crank.
I will check the grounds when I get home.
How do I check to see what codes are throwing?

How do I check to see what codes are throwing?

I don't think your ECU will be throwing codes yet, because the engine hasn't even started. When you turn your ignition to power all your electrical accesories, does your check engine light stay on?
If it does, which I would find strange, since the car hasn't started yet, you'll need to jump the service connector. Here's how.
