honda generic stereo question? pins for block connector...
hi guys
im trying to add in extra rear speakers for my s2000 however am finding difficulty finding the pins so i can add the new speaker outputs to the original block connector at the back of the headunit. Maplin possibly? if no one knows where i can get them do they know what their at least called? technical name?
I know there is a write up on this and it says to take an aftermarket honda harness and take then wires/pins out however the honda 1989 harness i am murdering to do this install does not have a lock clip to get the pins out, i think they could be locked in their permanently? any help would be great

I'm not sure I get what your trying to do. Does the s2000 not come wired for 4 speakers, or are you trying to add 2 more. [6 total] If adding 2 more, you can just wire them off the rear speakers[ carefull your unit may not be stable at 2OHMs] If your s2000 didn't come with rear speakers or wireing, you will have to add the rear speaker wire[ Molex is the largest manf. of "pins" 100s if not 1000s of types, also Amp makes them] the pins are always removeble somehow, one type of pin can be "clipped" in more then one way. Also is this the oem honda unit or aftermarket. hope this helps. 94
does anyone have a part number for the honda s2000 pins, im sure their the same as all other honda pins... maybe Radio Shack do them?
