B16A2, SKUNK2 STAGE 2 CAMS
I'M GOING TO DO A HEAD PACAGE FOR MY B16, NEW SPRINGS/RETAINERS/STAGE 2 CAMS, AND THEN RETUNE MY HONDATA. HAS ANYONE INSTALLED THIS, AND WHAT HORSEPOWER GAINS DID YOU RECIEVE FROM YOUR LAST DYNO. MY LAST DYNO WAS 165 W.H.P., I'D LIKE TO GAIN AT LEAST 15 WITH THIS RETUNING. ALL OTHER VEHICLES IN MY AREA ARE COMING UP LESS THAN I WITH SIMILAR OR MORE MODS, BUT NEXT TO BUILDING MY BLOCK, OR TURBO, IM ABOUT TAPPED OUT FOR STUFF TO DO AND REDO.

I ALREADY HAVE ITR CAMS, AND EVERY OTHER BOLT ON IMAGINEABLE, BUT I CAME SHORT MONEY WISE ON A BUILT BLOCK, (86M.M. SLEAVED 2.1 LITRE, LS CRANK/RODS, AND 11.5 PISTONS) SO I FIGURE GET THE HEAD OUT OF THE WAY WHILE I HAVE A CHANCE. HEY, I'LL BE ABLE TO REV TO 10,000. BUT I WONT UNLESS I MAKE POWER THERE, THE HONDATA/ DYNO SESSION WILL TELL.

did u like the v2 intake, do you think its better than the original? oh i dig the black jdm looking top heat shield, is that stock on the 99/00 civic, i'm not being rude, but where i live, i havent seen a stock one in a long time.(header)
lol, no engine work man. just intake/exhaust. but I was looking into the s2's and similar cams a while back. (read: became broke) and back then I had actually decided not to go with the skunks but with rocket m22 cams. you should look at those. here's the link http://www.m24x.com/

thats a bit more expensive than i can get all the s2 stuff for. well either way its a step up from my itr cams, (and not used since i got my hondata,) cam gears. oh yeah, ive got a $400 vafc that i use as a tach/throttle guage i need to get rid off with my old itr cams, then i can buy some 2.5 itr headers with that sexy black heat shield, and get rid of my highflo cat for a test pipe. oh yeah, so do you think the v2 is better than the original, i have the 3inch type r aem intake. i'm wondering if the v2 design is actually plausable over a regalar pipe. in my opinion less bends is the only way to improve n/a intakes, that and size.

I like my V2........ BUT, I don't think it's worth it. However, I haven't had anything else, so I dunno. I just regret spending the money on it when I could have just kept my stock airbox and put a K&N filter in it. The V2 is friggin loud at VTEC crossover, I :heart: that!
