My friend in his wrx just did this... does anyone know where i can get info on this? Want to know if just any alarm siren will work... also have other ?'s

y would you want to replace your horn with an annoying *** police siren?

 

some kids i know did this...but that's hella gay/ricey. when they honk, their sirens go off and that doesn't mean **** to the person they're trying to honk at.

 

I dont care if you guys think its ricey, either answer the thread or dont type anything at all. Otherwise it is considered spam.

Don't worry guys, i will make sure i get the siren from Japan.

Any 12volt horn will work.. horn is usually located behind the bumper cover... just clip the wires and hook it up... btw, just incase you need to know the horn button is a ground, not +.

Or, you can run the siren to a separate button. Pick it up at any Radio Shack. Run a wire from a positive wire to the button, then the button to the siren. and ground the siren to the chassis. This way you have both horn and siren...

Why are you doing this? Think I did this like 10 years ago while I was in highschool... It's just more messy wiring you have running around in your car... while you're at it you might as well put some lights on your subwoofers so they light up when you turn your **** up. haha So gay.

Either way... I wouldnt get rid of your horn entirely...

 

sorry i dont believe in big subwoofers that make thumping noises where you cant even hear the music.
