Default DIY Engine Grounding...What do you think?



How does that look? anybody see anywhere else i should ground?

and should i use 8awg or 4awg? i have 8awg on hand...but if 4awg will work better...

ground out to the frame behind the headlight bc it has the best contact point and also the less wire you have running around the less you have to worry about having to mess with while your doing other engine work. 8 awg will do fine but in the long run 4 carries grounds better..

8awg is fine, maybe even overkill. Popular places on honda's to ground are the throttle body, intake manifold, head, transmission, vtec solenoid, alternator, and maybe thermostat housing.

Making the grounds better increases the efficiency of the electrical system so it helps performance.

I like the idea. But IMO wires clutter up the accord engine bay more then it already is. Is there anyway to hide them, or mount the wires lower???

Black would look cleaner What I have found in showing vehicles is that straight lines look the best. If you could run the wires along some staight lines that would help too Great DIY oh by the way
