Default Best head gasket for d1616?

I need a new head gasket so I figure I might as well up the compression a bit while I'm at it who makes the best head gasket for the si engine? it does not necissarily have to raise comp. just a good aftermarker HG(or oem if it's the best). Thanks, shea.

I assume you mean the 88-91 motors .Honda makes the best headgasket short of o-ringing the head. They have changed the headgasket from the old composite style to the MLS new type.Its a real good race piece.

You can use a Y7 gasket- it is half as thick as the new metal A6 gasket. @.62mm and A6 metal is @1.14mm. Be sure to use new headbolts.
