3rd gear grind.

3rd gear grind.

Anytime i Shift into 3rd and sometimes 4th, in anything over 5k rpms i get a grind going into the gear, low rpms daily driving no problem, just when i run it hard,, any ideas as to what the prob is?

This is typical of our transmissions. It will happen, just means the synchros are going and you may have to replace them in time. I think i have answered this question about four times this month!

It may also mean that you haven't done your maintenance on your tranny fluid.

Change the fluid if that doesn't help you need new syncros. I'm going thru the same thing with my Y1 LSD trans at least you guys can drive up to honda/acura and get new ones!
