All D series trannys will mount up to D series motor...same with B, H and K Series from what I've ready. The D16 SI Transmission is your best pick imo.
Like the others guys said, all D series trannys bolt up. The easiest and best option would be finding a CRX/Civic Si tranny, or maybe search a little more and find a ZC tranny.
Or you could do a Si/ZC combo, with gears from both.

any 88-00 D series tranny will bolt
the problem is the 88's one will need a new clutch and flywheel
the 89-91 ones will bolt to the car without problems
the 92-00 ones will need the cable to hyrdo caonversion since ur car is a cable and thos trannies are a hydraulics
