I can only tell you about Goober.
Computer failure on Saturday. No high cams. It was the Honda computer, not the Hondata. He was still doing OK but he and Franza miscommunicated in T5 and Corey whacked him...Corey hit the wall and spun around and hit it again.
Car's a mess. And of all people to have a collision with...our buddy Jason.
He finished second today, I think, despite the damage.

Corey gave Evans and Whittaker a real run for overall. Missed seeing **** on track. Curpier did OK too. As for my weekend-it was a ton of fun as usual-mainly today with the sunshine. Saturday was a very different day compared.

Believe me Matt, we wished you were there as well
. I know it would have been hard to stay and watch what you should have been in, but man it was some intense action.

I could have guessed that. Remembering from last year's HC Beaver race, he's one Fast H4 guy... he was knocking on our(H2) backdoors all weekend. Props to Jon!

I was there for the autocross on Sunday and during one of the breaks I got a chance to come over and watch and I must say I have never seen such good racing before. Quite amazing and thumbs up to those of you on the track, how come no one came over to have some fun in the midst of cones with us?hehe

Lyonel,
Mr. Marhefka was on a different planet all weekend. Even Colin couldn't get close to his speed. He kpet lowering his track record each session and finished Saturday's race 6th overall.
I was gifted 2nd place by Colin who decided he wanted to go for an agricultural excursion with 3 laps to go.
I didn't race on Sunday (more on that in seperate post later).
Sunday's race which I watched from the tower could match any World Speed Challenge race in terms of enterainment.
John and James E ran bumper to bumper for three quarters of the race (until James spun off) and Corey and Jason M. looked like the had glued their bumpers together.
Great stuff
See you at RA in two weeks.
Regards,
Jon P. Kofod (who is looking for a used hood and a new windshield)

Yep, that sucked. I tried to guess which way to go to give room, but I was too late. I felt terrible about that, but I was really glad to see CJ running so well on Sunday! A 1.05.9 lap...WOW!
BIG congrats to JW on two amazing runs to the checker. While I didn't see much of the Saturday H1 race, I did have the pleasure of being behind them for a good 7 laps or so on Sunday. What a show! Big thumbs up to all those guys. They drove an amazing race. Close, hard, and clean racing!
