87 cvic intake manifold insulator
I am about to replace the intake insulator in my 87 cvic DX. Removing the carb along with its million and a half vaccum hoses is required. How difficult is this job going to be and are there any heads up on doing this?

im not sure of the peice your talking about...but im guessing there is an insulating peice between the manifold and carb?
ive never done this but i know about the mess of vacuum lines you are talking about...take extra care in marking them if you must remove them. theres only like 50 lines strung around.

I ditched 90% of the vacuum hoses on my 86 crx...car ran mint after and still passed emissions...most of that vacuum is emissions crap anyways, I just started yanking and plugged up what I could and it left the engine bay lookin nice and clean
