Anyone know of a good Honda/Acura mechanic around the St. Petes, Sarasota area ? I looking for someone that could check out an Integra that I'm thinking about buying.

Kenji, myself, Jon Helton (or the other Mad Revs/Florida-Insurance.com club racer guys), etc. There's others. What do you want checked out on it? Everything? Or is there something that doesn't seem right on it.

Mike K: Me Wrench? Never, I always take my car to Acura, even for oil changes. lol riiiiight My car goes to shops for alignments.. that's about it.. Although.. That damned rubber piece that covers the screws on the pass side window frame came off. The dealership wants me to bring the car in for them to replace it. it's a fuggen stick on piece of rubber. grrrrrrrrrr.

 

No, I haven't even seen the car yet. I've just been talking with a guy, via email, that has an ITR for sale. I was looking for a shop I could take the car to, or a mechanic that would make a house-call, to just give the car a general inspection. Preferably someone who works on Hondas for a living and would know what to look for. Just to be sure I'm not about to buy a lemon.
