Default supercharger

I am savin money for turbo. BUT, i really don't give a crap on whether i turbo or supercharge my car. If i get turbo, i run 8psi and no more b/c i am not tryin to be werkin on my car constantly just to drive around. I don't go to the track much and i just want more power. Is there any benefits a supercharger has over a turbo? is it less maintenance? AND is it any cheaper? Whoever answers this please don't be a dick and tell me to search b/c then you are wasting time to post to tell me to search. Anyway help is appreciated. Thank you in advance

I beleive a supercharger puts out an even level of power increase across the powerband, while a turbocharger gives its best power at the higher end of a powerband.

I could be wrong, so anyone feel free to correct me.

supercharged tegs are no more reliable then a properly installed, tuned turbo teg. By "working" on it, what exactly do you mean? Oil changes and routine maintnence? you'll have to do those things just as often with a SC, so if you don't want to devote the extra time, don't do either

by "working" on it i mean stuff like constantly having to fix things. I have just heard stuff before about turbos being more of a hassle to maintain. i don't mind routine maintenance. I just don't want to drain my monthly savings to keep it runnin if ya know what i mean

You just have to check oil frequently. Make sure the turbo isn't burning it. But then with a supercharger you have to worry about breaking belts and such.

well I didnt do much "work" to my boosted teg when I had it, other then the obvious oil changes. just don't half *** it. get quality parts, do a clean install, get good fuel management and tune it..
