(11:58 PM 6/5/2004) Slow_Em1: YOU ARENT SUPPOSED TO HOOK IT UP TO THE BATTERY, there is no fuse on SAFC's so you could have either 1. Fried the display, or 2. it only works when hooked up to the ECU.
try hooking it up to the ecu, if it doesnt work then you fried it trying to test it on the battery. i caled 3 shops, and they said NOT to test it on the battery, it will fry instantly. i also called APEX, and they said the same thing.


(5:18 AM 6/6/2004) 1slowcrx: well thanks for the news but just so you know i also have done some research due to your recent findings and it just so happens that in the etm for that car, it list that there should be 12.5 volts with the ignition in the on poss an 14.5 volts when the car is running, and that is on the pin that apex says to attach the power lead to. so if your trying to say that the apex safc runs on some other voltage amount then your crazy so ill take the word of the manufactures etm and not some shop you called if you claim that apex says that the ecu power lead doesnt go to 14 volts with the car running then get some proof.

hes the one that sold it to you. then after 'SLOW_EM1' refunds your money, HE needs to deal with"MATT" .

the thing is, either 1. you fucked it up
or 2. he sold you a bunk item.

but slowEM_1 sounds shady...... changing his story around.....
