Default noob

hey, i've been watching the boards around here for a couple weeks, and have now had my first civic for a week. being completely new on the scene i have a bit of trouble following some of what is said (such as engine types such e.g. b16c ). any information that could be contributed would be nice (i read the noob thread when i first started hanging around, but didn't find it all too useful). i currently don't have any plans for my car, when i get a bit of money then i'll start worrying about that, but there is one specific question i have, and that is i have a 95 coupe, and it has the kinda funky door handles which i don't really like, and was wondering if it would be possible to switch them out with some more standard door handles. any input about any of what i have said or any other information that might be useful would be greatly appreciated. thanks

um...wiht the right amount of money you can do anything, but that would be extremely hard, i doubt it...the closest thing would just be to shave them

Which handles? Interior or exterior? There isn't much I can think of that you could do to change them (within reason).

All the Honda-lingo will come with time.

thanks, i was referring to the exterior handles, i am left handed, and it's quite annoying because for as long as i can remember i have used my left hand to open car doors, but with these i have to contort my hand around to be able to use my left hand and it just annoys me. there are other things that i am going to take care of first, such as a little bit of body work and some paint so it would be a little while before i even got aroudn to that. chances are in the next couple weeks i will just get used to it and not care anymore, but for the time being it kinda bothers me. thanks for the replies, and i'll just keep trying to pick up the lingo.
