how much horsepower does a 91 si have? i have heard and read everything from 108 to 130....are they quick in a crx? i just bought a 89 and am putting a 91 si engine in and need some ideas to make it quick?? i figure the power to weight ratio should be good.

i have a CRXsi now and it is pretty fast..mine is all stock but its pretty quick. I drove a Hf model and it seemed REALLY slow compared to my Si. but thats just me

That's because it's an HF model. The purpose of the car was insane fuel effiency, not mega HP. It sux ballz compared to tha SI.

 

alright mine wont be stock at all so im guessing ill be alright...my plans were for a b16 but i found an Si for cheap so i went with it...my crx im working on is actaully a HF body...i no it is slow,only like 86 hp, thats y i got the si... hopefully it works out

 

Good luck with that. Hopefully there will be a B motor in your future.
