Results.........ODD 0 to OBD 1 conversion
as some of you may or may not know, i posted a few topics on some of the few problems i had with my conversion. well, the bugs were worked out and the car runs great! honestly.....the conversion was easy. i went into it blinded, ( i just got into the honda scene) and hondas' have a really basic wiring set up. i have been building toyotas' for a long time and alot of cars that i built i have had to change wiring harnesses from head light to tail light!
anyways.....the reason for the conversion was because im going to put a d16 vtec with a little boost in my car. i wanted to complete the wiring on the stock motor and make sure it worked before i had a big mess infront of me all at once.
now for anyone plannin' such a swap, even just going from tbi to mpfi, the power results were well worth the $100 i spent at the junk yard on the ecu, intake, dist,etc.....
just wanted to say thanks to all on the replys that i got and i will be sure to let you guys know how the vtec swap goes. meanwhile i will keep chillin around honda-tech to chat or share info that i have
