ok im trying to intall my short shifter/quick throw whatever u wanna call it and i have a 95 civ ex and i got the bolt out that goes threw the bottom of the stick and now i cant get the damn stick out becasue theres a metal piece thats surrounding the ball if anyone knows what to do next plz help

EDIT: i did search to and read a **** load the only thing is i dont no how to get that **** off that gose around the ball
