I have just recently purchased a 1990 Honda Accord EX 4Dr, what should I start with first if I want to customize my car; the interior or the exterior? Also any good websites to get parts from. I would apprecitate it if someone helps me out with this thanks!

 

what about good old PERFORMANCE?

 

start with teh interior. hows the heart of the beast? if its going, change that tired old engine out. lower it, get some wheels if you like. thats where i would start

It runs good, just that when i stop at red lights, stop signs, it stalls out. Also is there anywhere on the web that i can find a company that installs wooden dash interior on 1990 honda's?

 

you can buy wooden dash kits on ebay and install them yourself. what color is the interior

 

depends on what u want , do u want performance or style?

 

Wheels are the first non performance thing you should get, then lower accordingly....but you'll get super bored of looks so you don't need much more than that and you'll never get bored of performance. you'll get addicted to performance

if his car stalls and he gets stuck he can use the wood paneling for fire...oh wait its really plastic? just messin man...do what you like, as always. i put neons on my benz cuz i thought they looked good. no one else liked em but who cares about them? its all up to you man. ebay is a affordable place to start. otherwise look at the links 190 posted

 

i'd start doin some wheels, suspension, then maybe like a body kit or motor swap if you need a new engine.....just whatever you do to it, do it right, dont rig it, cuz thats what makes a car look like ****, and if you have to, spend a lil more money to get better quality stuff

 

start in the appearance/cosmetic forum and look at pictures there...maybe even search for accord. Then you can get an idea of what you think looks good and what doesn't, do some research, and ask some questions. If you just start buying tons of stuff, you're going to end up with all these parts a few months down the road that you hate. But for now I would personally work on making your car stay running, that should be your first priority.

 

i would say suspension. But it depends on wat you really want to do.

fake wood that is so gay, get the fake carbon fiber dash kit that's way cooler and chicks dig it too
