F22a boosting day 2
Hey guys forget my last post cause as of 3 am last night I blew My engine. Got it knockin pretty bad. So I'm on the search for a get me by right now. As for the stocker I think I'm gonna build the **** out of it. Resleeving new rods pistons crankshaft u name it. Any opinions on what turbo kit for that. Thanx.
Well I have seen dyno's on Accords running a boneyard boost setup and making over 200 hp!
You've got an iron block w/ thicker cylinder walls on your side, so I would consider just replacing pistons and maybe rods. If you spun a bearing, buying a used H23/F22 crank is real cheap on Car-Part.com, and get some good bearings afterwards. Balance the bottom end, build it right and you'll have a fun little car!
Sucks that it blew, though. Welcome to the world of Preludes.
