Default Turbo F23

I found a deal on Ebay for a FMAX turbo kit with 6000 miles on it and the guy wants to sell it to me for $800 USD, I just wanted to know what you guys thought about this and if I should go for it or not. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Thats what I thought too, but then he told me if I had any problems I would get my money back! I have to decide within 1 day!
Does anyone have any questions that I should ask him before I buy it?

Pay with PayPal, that way you have a MUCH better chance of getting your cash back if its not a complete kit.

zero feedback and first item........very shady. trust me....i've been burnt like that before......if it sounds too good to be true then it isn't true. $800......that sounds too cheap. i know its tempting, but u wont be saying that when ur trying to get ur money back. more then likely you wont get ur kit or he'll send u junk. before i got my drag kit.....over 8 months now.....i had been watching ebay for deals on turbo kits for our cars.......and let me tell you....theres a few someones trying to rip us off. get his phone number, his driver licence number, look up on ebay for his info which u can find. i did research like that i found the ones that were trying to rip people off had all fake info in. ........always research......dont work off of impulse! u will get burnt like that.

be very cautious!!!

should definately find out the condition of the turbo, how much shaft play or if they know of any seal trouble.

also I would ask for pics if you have not seen everything in detail and a tracking number upon payment.

I agree with the being leary of first time sellers with limited feedback.

lmao........thats one of the same auctions i've seen over a 1 1/2 years. same wording and everything. he just keeps changing his user name. just FYi....i aint trying to hate, but i'd hate to see ur hard earned money disappear, i'm already am turboed and have no interest in this kit.....i'm just trying to be a good samaritine. save urself the drama.

do me a favor....everyday.....for a good few months....just watch ebay and everyday search "turbo accord" you'll see what i mean. i mean literally those are the exact same wording.....i almost remember by heart.

i bet.....if u ask for a picture and he sends one, it'll be of a f-max kit with blue piping if i remember correct. well at least thats what i remember of all those auctions.

learn how to use ebay....feedback is a big deal, especially if ur dealing with alot of money and they have no feedback. ur asking to get burned. learn from my mistakes, i made them and like to pass on the knowledge so you dont have to.

i have busted this guy out before, emailed him and all that good stuff.....i even won some of the auctions, but he knew i knew, he never responded even tho i did some outragous bids.
email him and ask him if he knows ebay user b_ron007@yahoo.com(old ebay user id), and tell him what i have told you about him.....he never returned my winning bid emails. in fact i even looked up his info back then ......u'll have to bid on the item first....then you can research ebay for his info....but ne ways, i looked up phone number, address and all that good stuff, they were all fake. i even called the number....either it was a doctors office or it was fake....dont remember ...it was a long time ago and i've smoked too many dubies in my time.

i'm done passing on the info.....you do ur research, and make a wise decision. if ur daddy never taught u....."if it sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't"

if by some crazy and desprate reason u go for it.......DO NOT send money order or wire money, you WILL be **** out of luck trying to get it back. make sure everything is done through ebay and paypal would also be a good idea.

yes......C.O.D. would be a sweet deal.......tell him that :D see if he ever replys.

Dont buy! I've been emailing this guy also. He said he needs the money for his sick father. I was also wondering why he wouldnt just get a h22 manifold since he has EVERYTHING else. I also asked if he took paypal. He came back with, only bank account(whatever that means) and money orders, because hes a business man.(whatever that means?) So its a little too good to be true IMO. But good luck if you did buy it.

Ok, so I bought it, and then I have been trying to find a way to get him to ship it to me, and for me to pay for it. So i am talking to the guy through E-mails and then I send him the money through Western Union.
I havent been on H-T in a while, so I came on today and b_ron007 was saying how he saw it before.. I thought I had seen it before aswell (he did send me the pic from the FMAX site with the blue pipping by the way). So I go on Ebay and of course there it is..! For sale again, So I cancelled the transfer with Western Union got my money back and now Im just pissed off..! All I wanted was a Turbo!
What a guy too, He's telling me how he got in an accident and his wife just died today.. He was telling me how he was a business man too and he didnt do PayPal, People like that really make me mad!

Thanks alot guys for all your advise and help with this.

I just bought a FMAX/Turbonetics kit that includes everything and it was 3200 so i would say 6months old he should want more money than that. Buy a manifold and it would fit on the H22 so shady to me. I never buy from someone with no feedback. Use paypal and buy the buyer protection offer!
