Default 98' EDM ITR P73 ECU

Is the following true/false/what?

EDM = USDM
EDM = JDM

OR they are all slightly different. If so in what way?

Already searched but no specific answer to my Q.

I know that the UKDM ECU has a built in Imobiliser. The JDM one does NOT. Dont know how the USDM ECU compairs. Would imagine it would be imobilised too.

What is the part number? I believe that the JDM one ends in -003 and the USDM ends with -A03. What does your part number end with?
