Ever since I took delivery, my 2001 'lude has had a whistling sound (like a tea kettle) coming from the windshield/driver's-side A-pillar area. The noise comes and goes, but is very loud when there is a stiff crosswind.

The dealer has inspected the gasket around the windshield and declared it 100%, but I'm wondering if the noise is coming from the small drain holes at the base of the windshield. I thought I'd cover the holes with tape and take a drive to see if that does the trick.

Anyone else had this problem?

 

My '97 didn't do this. I think there's something wrong.

Try taking it to a different dealership maybe?

 

Mine doesn't do that. Take it back to the dealer and drive it around with someone in it to show that there is something wrong
