Default ECU for 89 CRX HF?

I was wondering what the ecu code for a 89 CRX HF was?
I'm currently swapping in a sohc non-vtec ZC motor....will the hf ecu be able to run this motor for at least a little while?
Which ECU should I eventually get for the zc motor?

ur gonna need a pm6 or a pg7 for that motor...the pg7 will give u a more aggressive fuel map and may run slightly rich but its all good, I used a pm6 in my sohc zc and it ran like a champ...that HF ecu will run the car but very poorly as its an economy program in that thing. u can pick up a pm6 ecu from any 88-91 civic/crx Si (I recommend 90-91 so if u like u can get it chipped later on) and u can pick up the ecu for like 25bucks if u look

my car is manuel so do I need to make sure the ecu is from a 5spd car or does it matter?

im pretty sure you need a manual ecu also, but if money is your problem i also pretty sure you can run the hf ecu for a while, jus get shitty mileage and jus wont run close to top notch with the hf ecu.
