Default Ball joint question on 92 accord

well right now im finishing up on my friends 92 accord and we just finished putting the clutch in and ive already put the axles back in but my problem is how do i get these damn ball joints back in. Like everytime i pick up the knuckle and try put the threads of the ball joint into the lower control arm, it wont reach it. like i try and pick it up and put the screw in the hole but something is not letting the knuckle not line up where i can put the screw in the LCA. im used to working on integras and civics and ive never had this problem cuz usually all you have to do is pick up the knuckle and it goes right down on the lca, but with this bastard accord knuckle it has like an inch gap from the screw to the hole and it wont get closer. Its really pissing me off. is there any trick to get it in there or what. any help is appreciated.

A bottle jack under the lower control arm and push up with it and line it up. I may be thinking of something different than you are talking about though.

i wish it was that easy but if i had a picture it would help alot more but i dont. Its hard to explain, its almost acting like the axle isnt in all the way but it is and it wont go right down on the hole in the control arm. its really starting to **** me off

i found the problem, the cv joint came apart so i had to take the axles and manually put them in.
