Default New member to the club finally

Schools out, got the money, found the car, its a 2000 Black 5spd non-sh. The problem is its on ebay and i never bought a car off of it although i use ebay A LOT. So any suggests? The seller does sell cars on ebay, about 150+ with all + feedback, offers 1k warrant, carfax certified, inspected and offers escrow. I believe this is the car so any help would be appreciated, I'm just worried that I'm not gonna see the car because its in florida.

Also is the engine in the 2000 no sh a h22a? the one everyone raves about? Thanks

Damon

yep, it is a H22a. The engine that everyone raves about is the k20a now.

I suggest you visit the guy selling the car and test drive it.

the non-SH is just known as the "BASE" model.

not test driving a car before you buy it, is like not having sex with a woman before you marry her. dumb.

Unless your Christian and wait till marriage.... but this deal is way to good to pass up. I've driven preludes and I love them, but this not seeing it is a scary thought. I am going to call him but 8000 black 54k miles 5spd is really hard to pass up. Even with escrow you guys think its not worth it? Thanks

its your money so its your call...no one here can tell you if the car you have not test drove yet is going to be a good buy or if it will end up being a lemon...that's what the test drive is for...but seeing how the car is florida and you are not, all you have to go is the seller's feedback and your gut feeling...

but for my money - i would hold off, i couldnt spend my hard earned money on a used car that i couldnt inspect before i paid for it.

use patience, there's more than one fish in the sea i found my lude while i was debating to buy another one at the same time from a dealer, i held off on the dealership car and found my baby when i wasnt expecting it...

good luck.
