Default o2 sensor replacement?

My o2 sensor needs to be replaced. How much would it cost to get it replaced at the dealer? Or would it be better to take it to a regular garage?

It would probably be helpful if you would state the year, engine, and model of your car.
What leads you to believe the sensor is in need of replacement?

Sorry bout that. It's a 93 Accord, Ex. with 166,000 miles. My mechanic was giving me a tune-up, and i told him about my check engine light. He told me it the o2 sensor

250 with a clip on 4wires o2 sensor..the older one wire sensor is little bit cheaper i think

if you know how to solder(well, you should ) you can get the bosch sensor without the honda clip for 80

Do it yourself,it's easy.I have a 92 lx and did mine in about 15 minutes. You can get the special socket from Auto Zone for a deposit that you will get back.I paid a little more for the one you don't have to solder because I hate soldering. Also unless you trust your mechanic,I don't trust many,I would check the codes yourself and make sure that's what it is.You can search the archives for instructions on how,it's really easy.
